| The Whariki Art installations and wall hangings are a collection of my artistic creativity. In this gallery are completed commission and public art-works. Detailing of each work is created by utilizing the natural fiber of this plant with additions of the gifts of Tangaroa (kaitiaki, guardian of the sea). For myself I find these gifts of Paua or Mother of Pearl shells or even found objects, totally enhance the art-work and allow its own identity to visually be expressed. |
